Since you have a 5-1/2' bed on your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 the only sliding 5th wheel hitch that has enough travel (22-1/2") to give you proper cab clearance is the Demco 13K Hijacker Autoslide 5th wheel hitch; unfortunately the B&W Patriot # BWRVK3270 doesn't have enough clearance.

For standard base rails you need the part # DM8550040 with rails # DM8552027-71 but if you're wanting a system that gives you a clean bed when the hitch is removed you need the part # DM8550041 with the rails # DM8551008.

Aside from the Demco 13K Hijacker the only other solution for your short bed is to use a fixed 5th wheel hitch and change out the pin box on your trailer to a Sidewinder which adjusts the pivot point back 22" and gives you enough cab clearance. The biggest benefit to this configuration is that you can use a lighter 5th wheel hitch that has a higher weight capacity than the Hijacker. For this option I recommend using the custom base rails # DM8552027-71 to avoid drilling into your frame and then the Demco Recon # DM8550043 which boasts a weight capacity of 21K but also weighs under 90 lbs!

To make the Recon compatible with a Sidewinder pin box you simply need the Wedge # SWW-05. If you let me know what your pin box number is (Lippert 1621 for example) I can let you know what Sidewinder pin box from the linked selection will fit your application.
