Where Is Trailer Tire Speed Rating Normally Listed
Updated 06/04/2019 | Published 06/03/2019 >
Question:
My trailer tires have a Load Rating of E. I have searched and searched, but cannot find the speed rating of these tires. Do they have a speed rating? Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:
Normally tire speed ratings are listed right after the tire size as a letter. For example the letter M represents and 81 mph speed rating. If you can't find a speed rating after the tire size the safe assumption will be that the tire is limited to 65 mph which used to be the standard speed for trailer tires.
If you can get me the brand and size of the tire I can look further into finding the speed rating if you are still stumped.
I attached a help article on trailer tires for more info for you to check out as well.
