Recommended Frame Mount Trailer Hitch for 2018 Airstream Trailer

Question:

Can you recommend a frame mount hitch receiver for a 2018 Airstream FC 28 that does not have to be welded to the frame? I am looking for one that could through bolt to the frame. Thank you,

For your 2018 Airstream FC 28 I recommend taking a look at the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703. This is a really versatile hitch that's designed specifically for trailers and RVs and it will fit frame widths between 22 and 72 inches. It will work on box frames, C-channel frames, or I-beam frames and it can be either bolted on with the included hardware (you will need to drill into the frame) or welded on if you change your mind.

The Class III hitch will provide you with a 2 inch receiver and it features a 3,500 pound towing weight capacity along with a 350 pound tongue weight limit. I have attached a sample install video that you can check out as well that shows the bolt-on process.
