Could Curt Fifth Wheel Rail Kit # C16200 Fit Putnam Hawkeye Fifth Wheel Hitch

Question:
Just wondering if these universal rails fit the Putnam 5th wheel hitches, specifically the Hawkeye 17k? It seems like they are out of business and I need a rail kit for a 2005 Dodge ram 2500.

The info on your Putnam Hawkeye is actually pretty hard to come by since they've been out of business for so long but there's one measurement you can take to determine if it will fit into the Curt Rail Kit part # C16200 that you referenced. Measure from the front mounting tab center to the rear mounting tab center and if that's right at 22 inches then your hitch was designed to fit the style of rails that the # C16200 provides. See attached picture.
