Question:

Im about halfway through and just had a question. Obviously you have the 6 bolts that bolt directly to the bracket but it seems like the remaining 4 bolts are only secured to the truck bed, just wanted to make sure that was correct, especially with the 2 bolts closest to the cab, I would think youd at least want those secured to the frame as well ? Thanks for any help/advice!

You are correct. There are 4 bolts that only get attached to the bed itself when using the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit # C16448 and rails # C16104 (gloss black) or # C16204 (carbide/matte black). I've attached a video of this installation to assist.

You may also want to consider adding a second 7-way like the Mighty Cord 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long # A10-7007 which will give you a clean look and easy connection access when towing.
