Question:

So I bought a yak rack at an estate sale that doesnt have any keys. How do I get a replacement and how do I know which key to order? Roof rack has round bars.

If the locks are in the "unlocked" position then all you need is the Yakima Control Key # Y8007835 to remove the lock core(s). Once removed you will be able to see the lock core number on the side of the core (see attached picture) which then lets you know what replacement key to order. For example, if your lock core has "A148" stamped into the side of it then your replacement key is part # Y8772-A148. So just type in "Y8772-" followed by your lock core number in our search bar to get the correct key.

You can also replace all 4 lock cores for your roof rack plus get 2 matching keys and a control key with part # Y07204 if you'd rather start fresh.
