Measuring for Solera Awning Installation

Does the size advertised on a Solera awning the center to center distance of the mounting hardware for the arms that attach to the trailer?

The Solera awnings like the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning - 16' Wide - Programmable - White Fade # LC405492 will be 16 foot center arm to center arm. This awning has the actual canopy of 15 foot 1 inch wide and then you have some roller rail on each side then the arm assembly as well. I've attached the diagram from the installation instructions that show the actual width to the center of each arm being what they state is the 16 feet, but I would definitely measure for precision before drilling holes to install.
