Will Bias or Radial Tires Provide Smoother Ride for Stock Trailer

Question:

Which tire will give me the smoothest ride on my stock trailer. The 750-16 bias 12 ply or the 235-85-16 all steel radial 14 ply

Since radial tires are more for highway use and bias tires have sidewalls that are more stiff for off-road use the Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWPRG235R16 is going to give you a much smoother ride quality than the a bias tire.

The extra flex in the sidewall of a radial tire not only helps to dissipate heat build-up but it also keeps the ride from being as bouncy as it would with bias tires. If you are needing a wheel as well then I have also attached a link to our selection of tire/wheel combos that have this exact tire with wheels that feature an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern. I personally prefer the look of the Viking Aluminum wheel so if you are wanting a recommendation I recommend part # A16RG8BMMFL.
