Rhino Delta Crossbar Compatibility with Roof Mounted Bike Rack

Question:
My Rhino Delta bars are 40mm deep Halfords told me your bike roof racks only fit 30mm deep Is this correct ?

The 40mm or 1.57 inch deep bars aren't an issue if I understand you correctly. For instance, the Inno Tire Hold II Roof Bike Rack - Wheel Mount - Clamp On - Aluminum # INA389 will fit bars up to 3-1/2 inches wide x 2 inches tall which is larger than your Rhino Delta bars.
