Write-up references that it doesnt fit Hemisport Quad Cab. Will it fit an ST or SLT quad cab that has a Hemi engine?

Yes, the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # 14361 that you referenced will fit a 2004 Dodge Ram ST or SLT Quad Cab 1500//2500/3500 with the HEMI engine as long as it isn't equipped with the factory hitch. The HEMI Sport is an add-on factory package that features, among other things, different trim at the rear that prevents fitment with this hitch. As long as you don't have this particular package the hitch will work great.

The Class III hitch features a 10,000 pound towing weight capacity and a 1,000 pound tongue weight limit. I have attached the written installation instructions that you can check out as well.
