What 5th Wheel tailgates can be used with my 2018 RAM 3500 DIESEL DUALLY? Can the factory installed back-up camera still be used? We appreciate your advice and information. Thank you!

For your 2018 Ram 3500 Diesel Dually the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate with Lock for Dodge Trucks # VGD-10-4000 is my recommendation. There is not a directly compatible backup camera option, but I know people have customized this tailgate to utilize that factory backup camera. This tailgate also can use the Louvered Tailgate Insert for Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate # VI-4000 as well as the Louver Insert Kit for Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Tailgates # 4000-V if either or both are desired.

The Stromberg Carlson # VGD-10-100 is a steel option that is also compatible with your truck. I haven't heard of this one being customized to utilize the backup camera.

I’m looking for the VGD-10-4000 or VGD -10-100 for a Dodge Ram 3500 dually (long bed) IN WHITE. Are you able to paint it prior to shipping or do I need to find a body shop locally to do that? Thank you,

The Stromberg Carlson # VGD-10-4000 is only available in Black. We aren't able to paint it here before sending it out but you could certainly have this done if you wish.
