Question:
Hello, The rear center jackpoint of the 2017 CRV is the tow hook. Since the hitch is bolted to the tow hook, can the hitch be used to jack the vehicle up? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13397 which is a fit for your 2017 Honda CR-V as a jack point. For future reference, all class III and up trailer hitch receivers can be used as a point to jack the vehicle up with. Depending on what type of jack you are using (floor or scissor), you may be able to fit the plate under the receiver tube otherwise you would need to use the main body.
