Question:
Just got a 2019 Honda Passport, setup for towing. I have a 2018 Honda Ridgeline with a Primus 90160 And it works great. Which brake controller do you recommend for the Passport ?

I recommend the Curt Echo part # C51180 for the 2019 Honda Passport because of its easy installation. There are not any factory brake controller adapters available for the 2019 Honda Passport as of yet. I took a look at your owner's manual and a traditional brake controller like the Primus part # TK90160 would have to be hardwired from the brake controller to the 4-pin gray connector under the instrument panel near the top of the parking brake pedal until there is an after-market adapter available.
The Echo is the best choice for a brake controller on the 2019 Honda Passport because it plugs into the 7-way plug at the rear of the 2019 Honda Passport. It has an internal built in sensor that senses when the Passport is braking and sends a signal to the trailer brakes to activate in conjunction with the Passport without a delay. The Curt Echo is powered by the power wire that extends from the factory 7-way to the passport's battery and does not require additional wiring or parts to install. You can control the settings for the Echo through your smart phone or tablet. I have attached a video for your reference.
