Question:
My camper has a 50 amp connection but some campgrounds only have 30 amp services available. Can one 50 amp surge protector be utilized for both situations or do I need both a 30 and 50 amp surge protector.

Expert Reply:
50-amp service and 30-amp service use different connectors. The 50-amp surge protector # CAM55313 uses 4-prong connectors while the 30-amp surge protector # CAM55301 uses 3-prong connectors. So you will need to have one for each type of campground power outlets.
