I have a Reece elite 18,000 hitch. I need to convert to GM factory puck prep. Will these legs fit my hitch?

Helpful Expert Reply:
We do have hitches that fit the GM factory puck package but the replacement legs part # RP30889 is not compatible with the head of your Reese Elite Series hitch part # 58292. The Reese Elite hitch is designed with legs to fit the Ford prep package or the Reese Elite Underbed Rail installation kit, but you already have a puck system.
I recommend getting a 5th Wheel Hitch designed to fit the GM factory puck package The Reese M5 part # RP30890. I recommend this 5th Wheel Hitch because it is very comparable to the Reese Elite. The M5 tows up to 20,000 lbs compared to the Reese Elite at 18,000 lbs. The M5 hitch head adjusts 2 inches higher than the Elite head. They are both designed with the premium single hook jaw so the kingpin cannot disconnect from the head.
