Question:

Can I make he rear lights on my 2017 Buick Encore function off my RV lights. Currently I have a plug on the RV which connects to the Dolly and another to the magnetic tow lights on top of the Encore. I would like to not have to hook up the magnetic lights and instead use the rear lights on the car. Is there a way to do this without damaging the electrical system of the Encore?

For lighting for your 2017 Buick Encore on a tow dolly you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267 for a solution that activates the vehicle taillights. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
