Question:
I have a 2017 Honda Pilot I would like to strap and haul on the Gatormade 18’ trailer found here https://gatormade.com/flatbed-car-hauler-trailer-with-dovetail/ I’ve never done this before. What straps would be recommended for this type of trailer? I don’t believe there are any d-rings, only the stake pockets on the sides and the frame. Thanks for the help.

I have a few options for you to secure your 2017 Honda Pilot to the Gatormade Flatbed Car Hauler. The best option would be to use the Erickson E-Track Tie-Down Kit part # EM58523-09162 (2) along with the Erickson Horizontal E-Track part # EM19147 (4). This will be the most secure option we have and it can be used on pretty much any vehicle under 4,400 lbs.
If you don't want to use the above then a more cost effective alternative would be to utilize the stake pocket openings welded to the side of the trailer with the Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor part # T55B. Once the stake pocket tie-downs are installed you can then use the Erickson Ratchet Tie-Down Strap w/ Web Clamp and Snap Hooks part # EM58501 and wrap them around either the axle or wheels.
