Can Metal be Used During Combination Cooking With Furrion Convection Microwave

Updated 03/30/2020 | Published 04/11/2019

Question:

When using the oven in combo mode, can you leave the metal rack or racks in the oven since part of the cooking process will be in the microwave mode. I have always heard you cannot use metal in a microwave. Can you use either rack in combination cooking. Thank You

I reached out to Furrion to try and get a definitive answer and they referred me to the manual of the Furrion Over-the-Range Convection Microwave # FMCM15SS and the section in regards to what can and cannot be used in the different cooking processes.

I cut out a portion of the manual which says that no metal can be used during the combination cooking so you will want to remove all metal from this convection microwave before using that process.

I have added a link to a review of the Furrion Over-the-Range Convection Microwave # FMCM15SS for you to check out.

The smallest convection microwave we have available is the Furrion # FMCM15SS mentioned above, which has a width of 29-15/16".
