Question:
Question: Recently purchased a 4x4 truck to pull my older gooseneck horse trailer, 12ft in length, dual 6000/4in axles. The problem is the trailer is too low and causes the gooseneck hitch beams to hit the tail gate of my truck, it does have a height adjustment on the neck BUT if I lift the trailer neck height, so it will not hit the tail gate, the axle nearest the rear of the truck is barely touching the ground. Will removing springs and mounting them on to of the axles, increase the actual height of the rear of the trailer? Do you have a general idea of how many inches would be gained? Your reply and comments, will be greatly appreciated.

We do have axle over-under kits that allow you to mount the axle below your double-eye leaf springs to raise the trailer's height, as is shown in the linked photo.
We have kit # K71-384-00 for 2-3/8-inch diameter axles and the kit # K71-385-00 that you referenced for 3-inch axles. Each kit will raise the trailer by the sum of the axle diameter plus the height of the spring stack. So, for example, kit # K71-385-00 used with a 2-inch tall spring stack will give 5-inches total lift.
