Question:

I tow an enclosed trailer for handicap equipment. I need to find good sturdy extension mirrors that work well and are easy to install and remove.

I assume these towing mirrors are for a 2004 Lexus LX 470. If that is the case then I recommend the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors part # CM11980-2 or the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors part # KS3891-2. These mirrors will both do an excellent job of extending your field of view.

The CIPA mirrors will be easier to take on and off the vehicle but the downside of this easy on/off install is that they are not as secure as the K-Source mirrors. The added security from the straps are then going to do a better job of reducing vibrations. Therefore, the CIPA mirrors will be the easiest to take on/off but the K-Source mirrors will be the most secure.

I have attached sample review videos on both of the above options for you. Please note that they do not offer custom fit towing mirrors for the LX 470 because it is just not that popular of a tow vehicle therefore, you will need to use a universal fit mirror like one of the above.
