Recommended Underbed Mount for 5th Wheel Hitch in 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab

Question:

2006 megacab under bed fifth wheel mount? Do they make an underbed 5th wheel rail kit for a 2006 Dodge Ram megacab? Im having trouble figuring out what I need. I have a Reese 16k hitch if that matters ...not sure if the mounts are universal

The Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30074 is a confirmed fit for your 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab. Then you will need the Reese Adapter # RP30156 to work with the Reese 16K 5th Wheel hitch.

If you have a short bed truck and a fixed hitch, then you will also need the Reese Square Tube Slider for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - 10" Travel # RP30048 to allow you the turning clearances you need for tight maneuvering like around gas pumps.

Another underbed option is the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1308-5W and then the Demco 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitches # DM6140 to give you bed rails.
