Battery Size Recommendation, Amperage Draw and Cable Strength of ComeUp Winch # CU854768

Question:

On this winch the package includes about 80 ft of synthetic cable. Will the drum accommodate 100 ft of the same diameter or is that 80 ft the maximum rope capacity. What is the maximum rope capacity? An earlier question about a circuit breaker for this model resulted in a 150 amp breaker recommended but the product details noted that at full load it uses much more power 250 amp or maybe 300 , cannot recall from the current web page. Why the difference? Along these lines, what is a recommended battery capacity I suppose measured in cold cranking amperage??

The 80 foot length of the ComeUp Off-Road Winch w/ Mounting Plate # CU854768 is the longest strap that can be used with it. Like the winch the rope/strap is rated for 6,000 lbs and when pulling that weight would draw up to 300 amps.

ComeUp recommends a battery with at least a 650 CCA rating.
