Will these work with an aero roof rack on a 17 forester? Do i need an adaptor? Do I need to remove the wind deflector? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier # TH834 will fit most aero-style roof racks so unless you have a roof rack on your 2017 Subaru Forester with taller bars like the Rhino-Rack Vortex bars (measuring 3-1/8" wide x 1-3/16" tall) then they will fit. Please note that according to my contact at Thule you will need the Watersports Adapter # THXADAPT11 if you have Thule AeroBlade or WingBar Evo crossbars.
If you have a wind deflector you will likely need to remove it for these to fit.
