I am a bit confused by your question as Kwikee does not make trailer jacks but rather trailer steps. If you were instead referring to trailer jacks such as the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC358590 then the "out of stroke" error means you have extended the jack too far. If the jack will not retract using the touchpad then you will need to do so manually with the manual override on top or bottom (see photo).
If you continue to get an "out of stroke" error or you cannot manually retract the jack then that would point to signs of damaged internals which means the jack leg would need to be replaced. I have attached a list of replacement jacks below.
Front Leg - part # LC305340
Right Rear Leg - part # LC344792
Left Rear Leg - part # LC305339
If you need more height for your jacks then you can use the Ultra-Fab Leveling Blocks for Trailers and RVs part # UF48-979051.
