Which Way Does Redarc Tow Pro Brake Controller Knob Turn to Increase Gain
Updated 03/26/2019 | Published 03/24/2019 >
Question:
I was considering installing the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite controller in my 2006 Avalanche. I love the low-profile hidden design. I was noticing that all the pictures show the scale of the controller knob increasing in a counterclockwise direction, which seems very counter-intuitive to me. I was wondering if you could confirm this the case? Also, could you recommend which cable I would need for my avalanche for connecting the factory port to the unit? Thank you.

The knob of the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR increases the gain or level setting as you turn the knob clockwise. I attached a picture that shows this. To install this in your 2006 Chevy Avalanche only requires the install harness part # 3015-S. This plugs into the junction box under the dash of your truck and then wires by color to the wiring of the Tow-Pro.
