Question:
I have a 2017 Honda Ridgeline and I keep getting a L.5 code flashing on my controller, what does it mean?

The L. display should show up on the Curt TriFlex brake controller, # C24VV, when it is plugged in.
The lever or button on the left side of the controller is the sensitivity adjustment. The L. should change when that lever is moved. You can also try resetting the controller by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in (without the trailer connected). We've found that Curt controllers periodically will have odd error codes like this and resetting them takes care of the issue. If these things do not fix the issue then there is likely a problem inside the controller and it will need to be replaced.
