2005 dodge 6ft bed Will these rail work for my hitch

If your 2005 Dodge Ram with the short bed is a 1500 then you will need the Curt Semi-Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16303-200 as opposed to the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit # C16100.

For a 2500 or 3500 same year Dodge Ram you need the Curt Semi-Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16301-200 instead.

Both kits give you industry standard base rails that are compatible with the wide majority of 5th wheel hitches out there.

One other thing you may be interested in is the Hopkins # HM42137 which gives you a 7-Way connection in the bed of your pickup to make connecting/disconnecting the trailer wiring much less of a hassle.
