if I purchase this product what can I do for my break buddy which uses my lighter plug looking in april to purchase base plate tow bar for my 2016 chevey Colorado also thank you

We have just what you need. For vehicles that have to have the battery disconnected to be flat towed but then use a supplemental braking system designed to draw power from the towed vehicle you'd want the outlet kit part # RM-9332. This actually wires directly to the vehicle battery so when the vehicle is disconnected it still gets power.
