How to Determine Wire Functions on Trailer to Install Furrion Vision S Side Cameras

I have two black wires for my marker light. I cant tell which is ground. How do I determine which is ground and which is hot? Also, does it make any difference? Does the Furrion camera need to be wired with proper polarity?

You can determine which black wire on your trailer is ground by hooking your trailer up to your tow vehicle and turning your running lights on. This will cause one of the wires to have power. You can determine which is which using a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 or a multimeter like part # ALL648349.

Once you know which wire carries which function you can attach the wiring of the Furrion Vision S Side Cameras # FCE48TASL. The black is ground, the brown is running lights, and the red is for power for the camera. Attached is a review video for you to check out.

Please note that these cameras are only compatible with the Furrion Vision S observation system # FOS43TASF, # FOS05TASF, or # FOS07TASF.
