SumoSpring Recommendation for a 2018 Jayco Greyhawk Motorhome
Updated 02/27/2019 | Published 02/26/2019 >
Question:
Would these springs provide lift for the rear of the unit. We tow a trailer 7x14 enclosed behind the 2018 Jayco Greyhawk and often find we scrape the trailer hitch on the ground on slight inclines and would like to eliminate this problem

Yes, the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-106-47-1 will help to support the suspension on your 2018 Jayco Greyhawk Motorhome when when you are towing your 7x14 enclosed trailer.
They won't increase the weight capacity of your motorhome but they will help support up to 4,600 lbs of weight. The best thing about these units is that after you install them you can literally forget that they are there as they require no maintenance.
Another benefit of the SumoSprings is that it will help improve the handling of your vehicle. They help to counter crosswinds and wind bursts from passing vehicles but also help to improve your ride quality. Attached is a review video for you to check out.
It may also be helpful to check and make sure that the tongue weight of your trailer falls within the recommended 10-15% range of the loaded trailer weight. This will also help to improve ride and handling. You can use a portable scale like part # e99044 to get accurate tongue weight readings on the go.
