Question:

The weight capacity for part #S64650 claims it will hold 70 lbs. 35 lbs. per bike. I only want to transport 1 ebike which weights 68 lbs. I can use this carrier for 1 bike which weighs 68 lbs.

The per bike weight capacity of the Swagman XC part # S64650 is 35 lbs regardless of how many bikes are carried. This is due to the weight capacity of the wheel hoops that hold each bike being 35 lbs. We do have bike rack solutions that are similar that can carry a 70 lb bike though like the Hollywood Rack Sport Rider E-Bike Rack part # HLY84FR which has an 80 lb per bike capacity. Since 70 lbs is really heavy for a bike the bike racks we carried that are designed for electric bikes are what you'll have to go with like the # HLY84FR.
