The shank on the Ball, # C40034, is 1 inch in diameter. If the ball mount on your mower has a 1 inch diameter hole, the ball with fit.
We do have a couple of hitch balls with a 5/8 diameter shank. From Brophy, we have # CB-20Z (2 inch diameter ball) or Curt # C40095 (1-7/8 inch diameter).
