Can you use this ball with a standard hitch mount?

The non-threaded portion of the Replacement 2" Ball with Nut For Buyers Products Combination Pintle Hitch # 337RB102000 is taller than most hitch balls but it has a diameter compatible with a lot of ball mounts as it's shank diameter is 1-1/4 inch. With enough washers though I am sure it would work fine.
