Can Pace Edwards SwitchBlade Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-SWD7833 Handle Snow on Panels
Published 02/16/2019 >
Question:
Have a 2016 RAM 3500 Dually, Laramie w/ Mega-CAB and a 6 1/2 bed. Have 5th wheel hitch and was looking at purchasing this to cover / secure the bed when not towing. Was concerned about the winter months. How does it hold up to the weight of snow or should I just leave open in the winter?

Expert Reply:
The Pace Edwards SwitchBlade Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-SWD7833 does a great job with snow. Pace recommends brushing off the snow when you can (especially before attempting to retract it), but the cover itself is very strong. It's made up of several aluminum panels which are better at holding that type of weight than a fabric material.
