Question:

Best bike rack - I have two specialized vélo electric levo. I want easiest hitch mount with stop light signals. What are your recommendations

The best and easiest to use bike rack for your specialized e-bike is, hands down, the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202. The reason for this is the amount of convenience features it gives you, such as an aluminum ramp to load and unload your bikes.

The EasyFold XT, which has a 65 lb per bike weight capacity, is the most effortless bike rack on the market to use. It allows for simple access to your vehicle's rear cargo area via a foot lever that you can press to tilt the rack down, tightens in your hitch with just the twist of a knob, and uses padded clamps as well and wheel straps to secure any style of bike, including those with fenders or a step-through frame.

The aforementioned clamps use knobs that audibly click when they are secure around your bike's frame. The only thing to keep in mind is if you have carbon fiber bikes you are going to want to use the Thule Carbon Bike Frame Protector # TH984101 with the EasyFold XT.

This bike rack also gives you security with integrated locks in the clamps that secure your bikes to the rack and a lock in the knob that secures the rack to your vehicle's hitch. The rack will work in either 1-1/4 inch or 2 inch hitches.

will this TH90302 work with a Specialized turbo como low step which has a very thick main downtube that houses the battery and a second downtube that closely parallels the main tube. I'm not sure if the clamp on this rack will be big enough to fit around that thick downtube

The clamps on the Thule EasyFold XT Rack # TH903202 will attach to bike tubes that are up to 3-1/8" thick/wide. If the downtube on your bike is smaller than this it will work without issue.
