The pigtail that comes with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 connects to the following functions:
Blue - 7-Way Output to Trailer
Black - 12V Power
White - Ground
Red - COLD Side of Stop Light Switch (only gets hot when brake pedal is pressed)
If the vehicle you are installing this on is the 2010 Honda Element that you put in for your vehicle info then you will need a 4-Way connector like the T-One # 118465 and then the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. The blue from the brake controller will connect to the blue on the adapter from the ETBC7 unit, the black from the controller will go to the battery (with a circuit breaker in-line), the white will connect to a bare-metal point under your dash using the included self-tapping screw, and then the red wire should splice in to a green/white wire up under your dash. You will want to verify that this carries the stop light switch function with the included circuit tester.
