Reverse Light Wire on a 2016 Mazda CX 5 GT for Installing ETBC7 Wiring Kit
Published 02/12/2019 >
Question:
Hello, I have a 2016 Mazda CX 5 GT that I just installed this 7 pin connector on. I got everything connected with the exception of the Reverse Lights. I couldn’t figure out where that wire is so that I could splice into it. Can you tell me where to hook the reverse lights up to? Thanks

According to my research there should be a white/black wire going into your left and right backup lights on your 2016 Mazda CX 5 GT. You should be able to just splice into them to get the reverse light function for the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 but I recommend using the included circuit tester to make sure that the does carry the reverse light function before splicing.
