Brakes Lock Up on Trailer Using the Titan BrakeRite EHB Electric-Hydraulic Actuator

Question:
The issue you described sounds like a problem on the trailer side wiring. I have attached the wiring diagram of the Titan BrakeRite EHB Electric-Hydraulic Actuator part # T4813100 for you. The first thing you will want to check is the blue brake output wire that leads from the trailer side trailer connector to the actuator. If this has a break and is shorting out to another cricut like the 12 volt battery charge line then that could very well cause the brakes to lock up intermittently. In some cases it is best to just replace the wire all together with part # 10-1-1. Once the blue brake output wire is checked you will then need to turn your attention to the ground wire. The ground wire will need to be attached to a clean, bare metal surface. Most wiring issues are attributed to a poor ground. Once the above two wires are checked, let me know if you still have an issue and I will see if we have any other advice for you.
