Hello Need best pin box for 2013 Forest river Thunderbolt XLR 5vr 35x12. I like the idea of the airborne air w/side winder. but it shows only rated for 16000. Does someone make one for 21000. It has an Lippert 4x4FXL34D5156395. SN# 019-000538484. LCI#: 3081881 Thanks

Your current pin box is a Lippert 1621 on your 2013 Forest River Thunderbolt XLR. There is not an air ride option for the Sidewinder that is over 16K. So with your GVWR of 18,000 lbs, you unfortunately will need to choose between the additional turning clearance of a Sidewinder and an air ride pin box.

If you choose the Sidewinder, you will want the 20K # RP34FR. If you want the air ride without the additional turning clearance, then I recommend the Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1621 - 18,000 lbs # LC328492 or 21K # LC369535.

If it were me, I'd go with the Sidewinder option to give the additional turning clearance and then add Air Springs to the truck to help absorb the road shock. Let me know if you need further help.
