Question:
I have a 2017 crusader lite28rl. Can i use the rear bumper mount hitch on this trailer for light towing single Atv on a single axle trailer, small aluminum boat max tongue weight would be 200 lbs or less. The hitch i was looking is made by Curt and bolts onto the 4” trailer bumper.

Expert Reply:
Your 2017 Prime Time Crusader Lite 28RL trailer according to the manufacturer was not designed to accommodate the addition of a hitch to the rear bumper or frame. So they will not warranty the addition of the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 or the addition of a hitch like # C13701.
You will need to weigh the risk when desiring to tow as most 5th wheel trailers and these hitch options would allow for that utility trailer with ATV towing or small aluminum boat. The hitches will be more than able to support the tongue weight.
