Question:

Wondering if I can use this type of plug to switch out gator clips on 12 volt portable air compressor. It has a 30 amp blade fuse in it. Like to run its plug to the back of truck for quick use without having to open the hood everytime the compressor is needed. Thanks

You'd just need to wire up the socket to the wiring on your truck for the compressor and then the plug to the compressor wiring and you'd be set.
