The wire that carries the reverse light signal on your 2012 Toyota Tundra can be determined either by testing with a circuit tester like # PTW2992 as shown in the linked video, or by removing a tail light assembly so that you can physically trace which wires lead to the reverse light bulb. If the truck has a 7-way wiring setup there will be a reverse light signal available there on the wire leading to the center pin, as shown in the linked photo.
I checked on several Tundra forums and I could not find a definitive answer as to reverse light wire color.
