Is There a Hazard Pulse Preventer on the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller Part # C51180
Published 01/15/2019 >
Question:
Interesting to know how it works. Do the trailer brakes still work if the hazard lights are on with the override applied? How does the module know the difference if it only sees the brake light signal?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, there is a hazard light override feature on the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 that you can turn on via the in-app settings (see photo). Therefore, if you needed you could drive with the hazard lights flashing and not have to worry about the brake controller applying the brakes on the trailer.
