Question:
I would like to use this on my Cherokee 274DBH to mount my 4 bike Thule Pro T2 bike rack. Will this be a compatible setup? I am concerned that the bike rack and bikes will be too heavy at a maximum weight of around 160lbs to be supported by the receiver mount. Thank you for your assistance!

The Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703 will fit your Forest River Cherokee 274DBH travel trailer, and the Thule T2 Pro 4 bike like # TH69TX will fit the receiver but it is not recommended for use on a travel trailer due to the extra movement on the back of a trailer so it would not be covered by warranty if used.
I recommend the Yakima LongHaul 4 Bike Rack - 2" Hitches - Silver # Y02476 for the back of your trailer to carry 4 bikes. This rack comes with the integrated locks and is a great option for you. I've attached a video to assist. I also recommend using the Rhino-Rack Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes # RRRBCA021 to allow level transport.
This bike rack is 32 lbs and will carry 4 bikes up to 37-1/2 lbs each. This will be well under the 350 lbs tongue weight of the Curt RV Hitch # 13703.
If you are looking for a more cost efficient option and have a 4 inch square bumper you can always use the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600 which is rated for 4 bikes up to 30 lbs each. I've attached a video to assist.
