Hello, I have a 2017 Golf TSI and I am wondering what is the installed height from the top of the drawbar to the ground is.

On your 2017 VW Golf TSI the installed height from the ground to the top of the drawbar or the inside of the receiver tube is 9-1/2 inches n the Curt # C11412 trailer hitch. I've also attached a video of this installation to further assist.

For a ball mount on this hitch, I recommend the Curt # C45521 with hitch ball # A-82 or # A-80 along with hitch pin # F-4. Finally for trailer wiring I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118646.

If you will be using this hitch for a bike rack or other accessory, you will also need stabilizer strap # 18050.
