For your 2018 Toyota Highlander the etrailer hitch part # e98844 is what I recommend for you as it allows you to keep the full-size spare like you want as long as it is not on an aluminum rim. The Highlander aluminum rims are too wide for all of the hitches that fit your Highlander.

If you need trailer wiring the 4-way the kit you'd want is the part # 118449 or if you need a 7-way part # 22119. Both of these kits have the most reliable converter boxes around, so they are the best option.
