The Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 477-5 is the correct fit for your 2011 Ford Ranger 2WD and is compatible with the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522 or the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520. You will also want the safety cables # RM-643.
Then for your wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267, the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR, and the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400.
