Hi there I am looking at purchasing the invisibrake Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System - RM-8700 for my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk I am also looking for a parallel signal and brake system part # Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with Bulbs Item # RM-155 Or Blue Ox Tow Bar Wiring BX88267 Are these system compatibles with the invisibrake or do I have to install on this a diode for the feed back in the invisibrake Video that explains that problem Also are the bulbs strong enough to be I would be gratefull for a product that is parallel and compatible with invisibrake There is also this product but the Cherokee is still under a 60000 km guaranty so would prefer not to cut into things to much Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit Item # RM-154

I do have options for you but neither the Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit part # RM-155 or the Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit part # BX88267 will fit your 2016 Jeep Cherokee as there is not enough room inside the tail light housing for the new bulbs. Instead, I recommend the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # HM56208 as it is a completely plug and play kit that does not require you to cut any wires or the tail light housing.

There won't be any issues using the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # HM56208 with the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700 either. Please keep in mind that in order for the InvisiBrake to work properly you will also need to use the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751471.

If your Cherokee has 4 wheel drive or the Active Drive II system, to maintain the vehicle's stable steering while being flat towed you will want to install the Mopar accessory kit 68321424AB, available from your Jeep dealer.
