Question:
I have 8K dexter axles and the RG04-230 are the oil caps i have but i want to switch to grease, the bearing buddy sizes are showing different sizes so im not sure which ones i need to fit my threads. I see several of your answers on this type of question but the sizes on the buddies are different than the oil caps, just wondering if im just not seeing the correct cross references. Thanks...

You'll basically just need to remove as much of the oil from your hubs as you can and then pack them with grease instead of oil. Oil seals and caps seal better than grease seals and caps so to make the conversion you want to make is not hard at all. It's when people want to go the opposite direction to they need new seals and caps. For grease you'd then want the LMX Red grease # L11390. Also, Bearing Buddies aren't a requirement so you don't have to find a Bearing Buddy to fit your hub threads.
