Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Valcrum Universal Threaded Aluminum Oil Bath or Grease Cap, for the 6,000 pound to 9,000 pound axles. Now, this part here will replace your oil bath or your grease cap, your O-ring, and the plug on these axles or disc brake kits. The axles it'll work on is the 6,000 pound, 7,000 pound, and 8,000 pound eight-bolt axles, the Dexter 6,000 and 8,000 pound axles with the screw on caps, the Dexter 9,000 pound axles before October of 1989, and the Lippert 8,000 pound axles, and the disc brake kit it'll work on is the Kodiak 8,000 pound hub and rotor disc brake kit. This part, as you can see, will include one cap. We have the watertight O-ring seal already put on here.
And in the very middle, this part right here, it is a magnetic vent plug. This will also be a direct replacement of the Dexter Kodiak and lipid oil caps, the Dexter it'll work, as a direct replacement, is 21-35, K71-038-00, or the 021-029-00. The Lippert is the 695814, or the 700266. Kodiak would be 8,001. Now, the product page would list all these parts that this will work as a replacement for.
This cap also functions as either an oil bath or a grease cap. Now, we mentioned this plug right here, it is a magnetic vent plug. If you look in the back, you'll see the magnet in the middle here. This will attract any damaging medical particles. It helps identify problems before they become critical.
The cap itself is a nice aluminum alloy body, has a black E-coat finish on it to resist corrosion. And if you notice, if I put my finger back here, actually, this part here is a nice, clear viewing lens that'll let you quickly check the oil level. And over here is this easy-to-access side port, and this will let you fill or drain the lubricant without having to remove the cap. The O-ring in the gasket provides a nice tight seal. And this is a threaded cap, it does install very easily just by threading it on.
Last thing we're gonna do is just give you the measurement of the thread outer diameter, from here to here. So if we put our ruler on it, just of the thread, it's two and seven-eighths inches. But that's gonna do it for the review on this Valcrum Universal Threaded Aluminum Oil Bath or Grease Cap for the 6,000 pound to 9,000 pound axles.

Customer service was excellent.
Perfect fit and replacement for the leaking plastic caps that came on my Lippert 10K axles. Great product and great service from etrailer. These were cheaper on etrailer than on Amazon! I’d much rather support small businesses anyway. Thanks for the great service!!
awesome product, much better then the plastic covers. Will only be stocking these from now on
I asked for these to be delivered NDA
And it was sent ground…
Trailer left without the proper covers put on
Waiting for a call tag to return these and still waiting
My 12000 lb. Axles uses 3 1/2 inch oil caps. I really like the product but they are hard to order the right size. Mine calls for 3.75.
These are way better than the plastic covers. I have AL-KO 10K axles on my trailer where you don't want to use chepear parts. I run grease instead of oil in these axles.
Great help
